Few notes about HDV Tapes:
We can convert most HDV Tapes, however in some rare cases we have run into complications. HDV had a fairly short run, about 7 years from 2003 to 2010 and was the last tape-based format popular with consumers. Our conversion machine is a Sony and we have a very high rate of success converting HDV tapes filmed with Sony cameras. We have however run into issues with HDV tapes that were filmed with JVC and/or Canon cameras. There is one more chance of converting these problematic tapes:
Clients Camera: If the client has the EXACT camera these tapes were filmed with, we have a very good chance of converting provided we are supplied with the original camera, AC adapter and the original AV cable.
